Escape to create beaded and felted earrings

All workshops are run by local people with a passion for their subject and for Whitstable too. Not only will you create a unique souvenir from your escape you’ll get the inside knowledge about our town from a local.

Every day will provide the opportunity for you to indulge in a creative activity with like minded people and let you ‘escape’ from life for a short while to find your creative self.

Escape to create beaded and felted earrings with Jan Lewis

Enjoy a textural and colourful introduction to the process of felt making and create beaded felt earrings using a wet felt-making technique and embellishing with beads.

Using Merino wool fleece you will create small balls and shapes which you can decorate further with beads to create unique earrings.
