The Oyster Parade

Bowls Centre, Whitstable Harbour (Zone C) to Oxford Street (Zone B)
Starts at approx 12.30 to 12.45pm

Now the fun truly begins! In a modern celebration of an old tradition, the Oyster Parade distributes bags of oysters to inns and restaurants in the town centre, accompanied by local giants, musicians and scores of Whitstable people in colourful costumes together in one giant celebration.

All the way from the far side of the Harbour to the bustle of the Oxford Street end, the Oyster Parade is wonderfully Whitstable.
